Unieke Mode NY
With nearly two decades in fashion styling and show production, the founder of Unieke Mode has made it her mission to uplift emerging designers and creatives. Sparked by the realization that most major platforms during New York Fashion Week are out of reach for up-and-coming talent, she launched Unieke Mode to give these visionaries a space of their own—one rooted in celebration, support, and authenticity.
“Emerging creatives are some of the most talented and underrated artists in the industry,” she explains. “We wanted to be a part of the change—creating a new narrative where they’re seen and valued.”
Balancing motherhood with the demanding world of fashion hasn’t been easy. Yet, her daughters’ unwavering support has fueled her journey. “They’ve sacrificed time with me, but they understand the purpose—and that means everything,” she shares. “I hope to leave behind a legacy they can be proud of and possibly continue.”
Her advice for creatives navigating today’s oversaturated fashion and entertainment industries is deeply rooted in faith: “If God has given you a purpose and talent, the competition doesn’t matter. What’s for you is already ordained. Believe in that.”
As Unieke Mode continues to expand, its heart remains the same—to shine a light on deserving talent and open doors for the next generation of fashion leaders.
Her advice to aspiring entrepreneurs?
“Know your worth. Surround yourself with people who also know theirs. Collaboration is key—we’re stronger together. And never underestimate the power of a kind word. A simple ‘hello’ or ‘how are you?’ can open doors and build trust within our community.”
