Vision Behind: Culture & Conversations
For over a decade, she’s been at the intersection of brand strategy, cultural storytelling, and community impact—leading groundbreaking multicultural initiatives like the Queen Collective and helping reshape the narrative around Black identity. But for this cultural architect, authentic representation isn’t a trend—it’s a truth.
Building Movements
NOT MOMENTS
Authentic representation means honoring the lived experiences of our communities,” she shares.
It’s not about checking boxes. It’s about ensuring the stories we tell reflect truth, agency, and the real voices behind them—both in front of and behind the camera.
That guiding belief inspired the creation of Culture & Conversations, a dynamic platform designed to elevate dialogue around Black identity and lived experiences. “Black culture is the source,” she says.
We influence everything—music, fashion, storytelling—yet our narratives are often rewritten or erased. Culture & Conversations is my response to that. A space to reclaim our stories, challenge dominant narratives, and amplify the brilliance within our community. ”Her work has taken her to global stages like Cannes and Essence Fest, and she’s learned key lessons along the way about claiming space in industries that haven’t always welcomed diverse storytellers.
Culture & Conversations is more than a platform it’s a movement.
And she’s just getting started.
She champions mentorship “across,” drawing inspiration from Issa Rae’s philosophy of growing with your peers. The real power is in community. We rise together.
From podcasting to PR, her mission is consistent: amplify Black voices. Looking ahead, she envisions a future where multicultural storytelling isn’t siloed—it’s central.
We’re building our own tables now. My role is to help create spaces where Black creatives are not only heard but celebrated. Where young storytellers can see themselves reflected and empowered to own their voice.
