Jasmine Nelson is the Founder and CEO of Umber By J Lenay, a clean beauty brand born from her deeply personal journey with PCOS and hirsutism. After years of struggling with excessive facial hair, skin damage, and a lack of real solutions, Jasmine created her own natural remedy in her grandmother’s kitchen—what would later become the brand’s hero product, the Hair Reducing Fade Oil. Today, that product has helped over 40,000 women reduce unwanted facial hair, improve their skin, and reclaim their confidence.

With a background in fashion design and architecture from California College of the Arts, Jasmine brings creativity, resilience, and purpose to everything she touches. Her experience as a mom, wife, and entrepreneur fuels her mission to help others feel seen, supported, and beautiful—especially those battling hormonal imbalances that are too often ignored in mainstream beauty spaces.
