Pioneering Spiritual Entrepreneurship
Aly Kravetz, widely known as BronxWitch, is redefining what it means to merge spirituality, wellness, and entrepreneurship. As the founder of WitchWork, the only co-working space in New York City dedicated exclusively to spiritual and wellness practitioners, Aly has created a sanctuary for purpose-driven entrepreneurs to grow their businesses while honoring their craft. Alongside this, she leads BetterWitch Coaching, an online platform offering classes, coaching, and resources on magic, spirituality, and entrepreneurship.
Through her YouTube channel, Aly shares glimpses of her journey as a spiritual entrepreneur, while her podcast, the BetterWitch Podcast, facilitates deep conversations with authors, creators, and practitioners. Aly’s work is rooted in a clear philosophy: “Spiritual work is WORK and you should be getting PAID.” Her motto, #witcheshelpingwitches, underscores a lifelong commitment to fostering collaboration over competition.
A native of the Bronx, Aly’s inspiration stems from her grandfather, a man born to sharecroppers in the early 1900s who founded five businesses dedicated to serving the Black community of Awendaw, South Carolina. His legacy fuels her drive to transcend circumstances and uplift others, creating spaces where marginalized voices and spiritual practitioners can thrive.
Her impact is tangible. Through WitchWork and BetterWitch Coaching, Aly has helped dozens of healers, readers, and mystics launch businesses and step into financial independence. Her coaching platform alone has enrolled over 800 students, generating more than $50,000 in revenue and supporting the launch of more than two dozen spiritual businesses. Recognized locally and nationally, Aly has been featured in USA Today, BronxNet TV, and Bronx12 News, and was recently honored by the Bronx Collab as a local queer hero. She also won the Ponce Bank Small Business Bootcamp Series, further cementing her role as a leader in the intersection of spirituality and business.
Aly’s journey
has not been without challenges. Born into a low-income family and raised in the South Bronx, she navigated a difficult childhood, a divorce during COVID-19, and the stigma surrounding spiritual practitioners. Yet, through perseverance and a commitment to community, she has demonstrated that ancestral practices and business education can coexist powerfully.
For Aly Kravetz, the message is clear: spiritual work is valuable, and practitioners deserve recognition, respect, and compensation. Through her work, she continues to build a legacy that empowers others to rise, thrive, and succeed.
