Passion is Purpose
Joelle Brown lives her life with her motto.
Exemplifying her motto in every aspect of her life, Joelle’s passion for education has led her to be a member of the National Honor Society. As she continues to exemplify her motto in her academic career, she is currently a first-generation Black & Filipino college student obtaining her AA in Philosophy. Following this, she will continue her passion for culture and education by receiving a certificate in Cultural Resource Management.
With her day job as a Small Business Consultant at the Education Department in her school, she has been able to apply what she has learned from her business to assist others, and vice versa. While advancing all her business skills, she has significantly obtained skills in marketing and networking. This assists her in having a significant and positive impact on her community, providing internships and grants to students. Her passion for culture continues into her career as a creative engineer and photographer. She integrates culture, history, philosophy, and art into her business.
As a photographer and content manager, she ensures all of these are captured in her photos. She has previously worked and completed projects for streamers, homeware decorative businesses, health hair care vendors, and jewelry ambassadors.
She uses her background in technology and passion for creating to problem-solve and innovate for her collaborators. Joelle explains, “I focus on cohesiveness, cleanliness, and execution with presentation on brands.”
This has led to her success in brand marketing, social engagement, content planning, propositional value, and brand product management.
Joelle explained that discipline and consistency feed success, but also collaboration. “My impact comes from the connection in relativity to aiding in their process of scaling their passions into funds.”
Joelle does not just put her passion into purpose; she assists other collaborators and creatives to find their passion and successfully use it to their fullest extent to share their experiences.
With Joelle’s’ passion, she has cultivated a community thriving off collaboration.
“A world built on the leanings of others is not a world that's supportive, generous, and engaging, but a world that's centered around self-discovery and self-drive is a success story waiting to happen.”
