Jessica & Simone

Four years ago, best friends

Jessica & Simone

launched TNT Goods—This n That—offering jewelry and joy, empowering their TNT Besties with love, creativity, and community.

When Jessica & Simone first launched their jewelry collection during the pandemic, they started out with five pieces and were racked with imposter syndrome, as many Black entrepreneurs and business leaders can go through. “The thoughts of imperfection, timing, even fears of being seen or unseen, can send us through a whirlwind that plagues our minds so badly, that we end up not starting at all. “We thought it was too small and the photos weren’t professional enough. We thought no one would see or support us.”

But boy, were they wrong.

Five years later, their business is now thriving, spreading the message of the empowerment of jewelry, through their brand, TNT Goods. “When you look good, you feel good, you do good. We think jewelry adds that extra sparkle to any outfit. It elevates a look. It adds some extra razzle dazzle to an already beautiful canvas.”

Since their first year of business, not only do Jessica and Simone wish to grow their holiday program, but can’t help but reflect that had they never taken that first step, TNT Goods would never be what it’s become today. An inspirational message that is important for any current or future artist, entrepreneur and founder: “The most surprising lesson we’ve learned since growing our business during a pandemic is that you should do it anyway. Launch it scared, debut even if imperfect – but do it ANYWAY.”
