Light with Purpose, Live with Intention

NYLA,

As a dancer, choreographer, creative entrepreneur, and founder of Vibe and Revive Candles, Nyla Sanders lets her work display her mantra: “Light with purpose, live with intention.”

She finds fulfillment in her work through the inspiration she discovers from her community. Seeing my community struggle with mental health has fueled my passion to create safe spaces, uplifting products, and empowering experiences that support healing, self-expression, and self-love/care.

Nyla’s passion is centred around self-love, caring for others, and expression for all. She has found success by learning to see setbacks as opportunities and the foundation for growth and improvement.

Light with Purpose, Live with Intention

When blending her passions, she finds it necessary to adapt and change her brand as she changes. The value she found by branding herself and her business to align with her beliefs and values has led to her success.

As I grew into a more experienced and purpose-driven business owner, I realized I wanted to create something deeper—something that uplifted individuals and brought awareness to mental health and overall well-being. Nyla started her first business at 17. Learning to balance school, entrepreneurship, and dance, Nyla rapidly developed the ability to connect with others even during quiet seasons.I started my business at just 17 with limited resources and no team, but I stayed consistent and rooted in purpose. As Nyla was building something deeper, she discovered the need for Vibe and Revive in her community because the candles being used were harmful.

I became passionate about offering clean, eco-friendly scented soy candles that don’t pollute the air or trigger health concerns. Her connections with her community and customers led to her selling to multiple states and selling out of her best sellers, such as Black Amber Lavender, Peach Vanilla, & more!

Every product is designed with purpose — from the affirmations to the clean ingredients — offering comfort, encouragement, and a sense of peace.Nyla credits her shift from her original business of creating beaded jewelry to promoting mental health to finding purpose in her business, and assisting others in their flourishing. Nyla explains her shift led to “something that uplifted individuals and brought awareness to mental health and overall well-being. Nyla’s success illustrates how one can “Light with purpose, live with intention.
